This Privacy Policy explains how our Application operates, how user privacy is safeguarded, what permissions are required, and how Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) processes telemetry data to display advertisements. 03 Information Collection & Local Processing
Our fundamental design principle is privacy-by-default. The Application operates primarily offline for diagnostic functions and processes all touch telemetry on the device:
Key Guarantee: Touch Screen Repair does NOT transmit your touch coordinates, touch pressure, gestures, drawings, or screen interaction habits to any external cloud server or remote database.

04 Android Device Permissions
The Application requests only the minimal set of Android operating system permissions strictly required for its core features and Google AdMob functionality:
- android.permission.VIBRATE: Used solely to generate tactile haptic feedback when touching test targets, crossing grid cells, or completing diagnostic steps. Haptic feedback can be disabled at any time in the app's Settings menu.
- android.permission.INTERNET: Required exclusively to allow the Google Mobile Ads SDK to fetch and serve banner and interstitial advertisements from Google AdMob servers.
- android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Enables the Google Mobile Ads SDK to verify network availability before making ad requests, optimizing battery and data usage.
The Application does NOT request or access sensitive device capabilities such as Camera, Microphone, Precise Location (GPS), Contacts, SMS, Storage Files, or Biometric sensors.
05 Advertising & Third-Party SDK Disclosures (Google AdMob)
This Application uses Google AdMob (a service provided by Google LLC) to display advertisements. AdMob enables us to provide this diagnostic utility to users free of charge.
In full adherence to Google AdMob's 2026 Developer and Publisher policies:
- Anchored Adaptive Banners: Banner ads use fixed-height pre-reserved containers to prevent Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) and are placed with an 8dp–12dp safety gap above navigation bars to prevent accidental clicks.
- Natural Interstitial Transitions: Full-screen interstitial ads are shown ONLY at natural break points—specifically when the user explicitly taps "Finish" after completing a diagnostic test.
- No Launch or Exit Ads: Interstitial ads are never shown during initial app launch (Splash screen) or during back-button exit dialogs.
- Frequency Capping: A minimum interval cooldown is enforced to prevent ad spam.
- Technical Data Collected by AdMob: Google AdMob may process your device's Google Advertising ID (GAID), IP address, network carrier, device model, and ad interaction metrics to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads according to your system settings.

06 Diagnostic Disclaimer & Google Play Policy Notice
In accordance with Google Play's Deceptive Behavior and Device & Network Abuse policies:
Touch Screen Repair & Diagnostics is a software diagnostic and analysis utility designed to assist users in identifying screen digitizer dead zones, latency, touch calibration status, and multi-finger tracking fidelity. Software applications cannot physically repair broken glass, severed touch flex cables, or damaged liquid crystal / AMOLED panels. If physical digitizer damage is detected, professional hardware repair is recommended.
07 Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Our Application is designed for general audiences and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at service@jeweality.com and we will take immediate corrective action.
08 Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)
Depending on your geographic location, you possess distinct legal rights regarding your data:
- Right to Clear/Delete Data: You have full control to clear all saved diagnostic logs at any time directly through the "Clear Test History" option in the Application's Settings.
- Right to Opt-Out of Personalized Ads: You can opt out of interest-based advertising at any time by configuring your device's Google Ads settings or through the Google Consent Management platform.
- Non-Discrimination: We do not discriminate against users who choose to exercise their privacy rights or limit ad personalization.
- Sale of Personal Information: We do NOT sell, rent, or trade user personal information to third parties.
09 Data Retention & Security
Because diagnostic telemetry is held strictly in temporary RAM and local app-private storage, your data remains protected by Android's application sandbox security model. Uninstalling the Application or selecting "Clear Data" in your device's application manager immediately and permanently purges all local diagnostic records.
10 Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our diagnostic features, technical infrastructure, or applicable legal standards. Any revisions will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." We encourage users to periodically review this page.
